Where to Eat in Aruba for Dinner is something Raun and I enjoy exploring each time we visit. We have our favorite restaurants that never disappoint, but we also like to try something new. Aruba offers everything from casual seafood spots to special occasion dinners. We also ask locals where they like to dine, depending on what we are looking for. On this trip, we enjoyed two familiar favorites and one new experience. Each restaurant gave us something different to remember.

For our first dinner out, we made reservations at Flying Fishbone Aruba. This well-known Aruba seafood restaurant is in Savaneta. The drive from the Hyatt Regency Aruba took about 30 minutes. Since the restaurant is past the airport, allow enough time for the ride.

You can request reservations online or by email. We made our May reservation in February. Sunset dining and waterside tables fill up quickly, so it is best to book early. After arriving in Aruba, we called the restaurant to reconfirm our reservation.

Flying Fishbone offers waterfront dining, sunset views, and tables placed directly in the water. Yes, you can enjoy dinner with your feet in the water. The restaurant limits these tables and usually offers them during earlier dining times. The staff stores your shoes and provides an area to wash the sand from your feet. It is certainly a unique experience. Raun and I chose a regular table and watched the in-water dining from there.

We shared the lobster salad, which was the perfect size for two. Raun and I both ordered the snapper with mashed potatoes. The food was good, but the sunset setting made the evening feel memorable.

I will be honest, Flying Fishbone is pricey. For us, it felt more like a special occasion restaurant. It is not somewhere we would visit during every Aruba trip. Consider adding it to your list if you want a sunset dinner or a unique setting. Would we rush back? Probably not, but we are glad we experienced it once.

Wacky Wahoo Aruba is one of those seafood restaurants we keep coming back to. The food is reliable, the portions are generous, and every dish we have tried has been full of flavor. The prices do reflect the size of the portions, but for us, it feels worth it because the meals are satisfying and well prepared.

Wacky Wahoo does not take reservations, so it is first come, first seated. They open at 5:30 p.m., and we arrived around 4:45 p.m. to get in line. It is a smaller restaurant, so getting there early is a good idea, especially if you want to be seated when they open.

Raun ordered the Boston clam and lobster with fettuccine, and he said it was delicious. I had the Lobster Temptation, which came with a lobster tail over savory tomato rice, along with plantains, grilled polenta, and vegetables. It was so good. The flavors were rich, fresh, and really came together.

If you love seafood, Wacky Wahoo is definitely one to consider. Just be sure to check their website before you go for their current hours and to see which day they are closed. This is one of those places with a casual atmosphere, generous portions, and food that always delivers. That is why we keep going back.

Wilhelmina Aruba offers a dining experience that feels special from the moment you arrive. The building looks simple from the outside. However, the back opens into a peaceful tropical oasis. The setting feels elegant without feeling overdone.

This is one of our favorite places for fine dining in Aruba. The staff welcomed us warmly and provided knowledgeable, attentive service. We felt well cared for throughout the evening.

The menu offered bold flavors and beautiful presentations. We began with cauliflower soup and lobster bisque. Both started the meal perfectly. I ordered the filet mignon with mashed potatoes. The steak was so tender that my knife moved through it like butter. Its rich, balanced flavors made it a memorable dish.

Raun ordered the braised short ribs with ravioli and praised the flavors with every forkful. For dessert, I chose the lemon tart, and it was a true wow dessert. Raun ordered the Wilhelmina cheesecake and said it was amazing.

Wilhelmina now ranks among our must-go-back restaurants in Aruba. The restaurant accepts reservations only, so book several months before your trip. For us, every part of the dinner felt special, from the first course to the last bite.

The Aruba food scene gave us a nice mix of familiar favorites and something new on this trip. Wacky Wahoo and Wilhelmina are two restaurants we return to each time we visit because they continue to deliver the food and experience we enjoy. Flying Fishbone was our new restaurant to try, and although we may not rush back, we are glad we experienced the sunset and waterfront setting. That is what we love about dining in Aruba. We can return to the places we already enjoy while still finding something new to discover.
